VISION First – The Logo and Identity
Every legend starts with a symbol. For Vision Omni, it began with:
A tall, rounded logotype with clean, futuristic cuts.
A circular emblem featuring a bold raised “V” (for Vision).
A design language inspired by circuitry, sci-fi typography, and minimalist streetwear.
The circular “V” icon is pressed directly into the leather – it won’t peel, fade, or wear off. This brand identity is built into the material itself.

Pattern-Making and Prototyping
Before the first piece of leather is cut, every surface is mapped:
Full-scale paper templates for the backpack body, flap, straps, and gussets to balance capacity and comfort.
Grid-lined drawings and cardboard models for the mouse pad, notebook, and accessory layout.
These initial prototypes are refined to ensure aesthetics, ergonomics, and practicality before production.

Cutting and Preparing the Leather
Each hide is carefully inspected and prepared by hand:
Skilled artisans lay out templates to align with the leather grain and avoid imperfections.
Panels for the front, back, pockets, and straps are cut precisely.
Edges are hand-skived (thinned) where folds or overlaps occur, ensuring slim, comfortable seams.
Stitching, Embossing, and Assembly
After cutting, pieces are transformed into finished gear:
Contrast stitching traces the backpack’s outline, the mouse pad’s perimeter, and the notebook’s spine, adding both strength and visual detail.
High-stress seams receive double stitching for longevity.
The Vision Omni wordmark and “V” emblem are debossed and stitched into position.
Internal layers (RFID lining, padding, fabric linings) are sandwiched between leather and fabric with meticulous care.
Prototyping Colorways
The two primary colorways were vetted through multiple samples:
Stone Grey base with warm brown accents: a modern, urban look.
Rich Chocolate Brown base with cool grey highlights: a vintage yet bold aesthetic.
These prototypes were compared side-by-side under various lighting to ensure the leather’s texture and tone matched our vision.

Real-World Testing
The gear is taken out of the workshop and into everyday life:
Backpacks are worn on city streets, parks, and campuses to test comfort and access.
They are loaded with laptops, peripherals, and daily essentials to evaluate weight distribution.
The extended mouse pads are used in real gaming and office setups to test durability.
Each round of testing feeds into refinements, ensuring the final products are not just beautiful in photos but reliable in your hands.
